It's just my hands that are killing me

날 아프게 하는건 내 손들 뿐이야

Killing someone else may make for better poetry

다른 누군가를 죽이는게 더 나은 시를 쓸지도 모르겠어

The fact I hate the way I talk

내가 내 말하는 방식이 싫다는 사실

Cynics mock all surroundings

비꼬는 것들이 내 주변을 모두 조롱해

I just wish to live with the ones that

Instead of hating MTV

MTV를 싫어하는 거 보단

Beat on the floorboards to wake their tenants

세입자들을 깨우려고 바닥판을 두들겨

That they know are not asleep

그들이 잠을 안자고 있다는걸 아니깐

The way we're sure they're not asleep

우리가 그들이 아직 안 자고 있다는걸 확신하고 있는거 처럼

We woke up in the same bed

우린 같은 침대에서 일어났어
