Unpierced by human thought;

사람의 통찰이 감히 닿지 못하는 곳으로
The dreary regions of the dead,

망자들의 음울한 땅
Where all things are forgot!

모든 것이 잊혀지는 곳으로!

 

Soon as from earth I go,

이 땅을 떠나게 되면
What will become of me?

나는 어떻게 되는가?
Eternal happiness or woe

영원한 행복, 혹은 괴로움이
Must then my portion be!

나의 것이 될 테요!

 

Waked by the trumpet sound,

나팔 소리에 잠을 깨어서
I from my grave shall rise;

무덤에서 나는 일어나
And see the Judge with glory crowned,

왕관을 쓰신, 영광스런 판관을 보리요
And see the flaming skies!

불타는 하늘을 보리요!
