앨범의 포문을 여는 곡이자 전반적인 분위기를 만들어내고 있다. 이 곡은 전작 [Pang]을 작업하던 시기인 2018년에 만들어 졌다고 한다. 앨범명인 [Desire, I Want to Turn Into You]라는 가사가 등장하기도 할 정도로 핵심적이다. 제목에서 말하는 섬은 다름아닌 자신이 머릿속 공간을 의미하며, 곡의 주된 내용은 브릿지 부분의 랩처럼 이어가는 부분에서 잘 드러나는데, 2020년 COVID-19로 사망한 그녀의 아버지와의 관계를 언급으로 알 수 있다. 생전에 자신의 음악활동에 대한 것에 탐탁치 않게 생각하고 인정받지 못했었지만, 그가 우울증과 조울증으로 고생하면서 결국 스스로를 돌볼 수 없게 되버린 모습을 보면서 결국 자신도 아버지의 딸이자 유전으로 인한 불안감과 스스로를 고립시키는 모습을 보이지만, 결국 내제된 욕망을 표출하고자 함을 음악적 아이디어로 승화 시켰다고 볼 수 있다.
