And one of the reasons that Detroit is my favorite market
그리고 Detroit가 내가 제일 좋아하는 시장인 이유 중 하나는
Is because the audiences in Detroit, for a comedian
Detroit의 관객들은, 코미디언의 입장에선
I find them to be particularly challenging
특히 어렵거든
So when I go there, in this particular story
그래서 거기 가면, 예를 들자면
It seemed like a pretty benign night
별 거 없는 밤인 것 같아서
And I'm sittin' in the dressing room at the Fillmore
Filmore 드레싱 룸에 앉아있는데
And there's an older gentleman in there
나이 든 신사분이 거기 앉아있는 거지
And I don't really talk to the guy much, but he was a nice guy
난 낯선 사람하고 말을 많이 하진 않지만, 착한 분이더라고
Cool energy, shit like that

And then, uh, famed Detroit rapper Danny Brown came in
그러다, uh, 유명한 Detroit 래퍼 Danny Brown이 들어와
Now at this time, I wasn't that familiar with Danny Brown's music
그 당시 난 Danny Brown 음악은 잘 몰랐거든
You know what I mean?
무슨 말인지 알겠어?
So when he asked me to smoke with him, I just smoked with him
그래서 그가 같이 마리화나 피우자고 할 때, 난 그냥 같이 피웠어
I didn't hear all that "Adderall Admiral" and all that shit
"Adderall Admiral"이고 뭐고 듣지 않았었거든
I didn't know he was about that life (Haha)
그가 그런 인생을 사는지도 몰랐지 (하하)
I'm assuming it's weed, I don't know what the fuck it was
아마 마리화나 때문이었는지, 뭐였는진 몰라도
But, boy, I mean, I smoked weed a million times in my life
야, 그러니까, 살아가면서 백만 번은 마리화나를 피우긴 했지만
Never, ever remember feeling this way before
이런 기분은 한 번도 느껴본 적이 없어
And as I was walking on stage, I told my road manager
그래서 무대로 걸어가면서, 로드 매니저한테 말했지
"You know, my number's up tonight"
"있지, 오늘밤이 내가 갈 날인 거 같아"
He's like, "What does that mean?"
그는 "무슨 뜻이에요?"
"I'm going to bomb"
"폭발할 거라고"
And true to my professional prescription, I did
나의 프로페셔널한 식견답게, 실제로 그랬어
But, there's bombing and then there's the shit that happens in Detroit
하지만, 폭발도 있고, Detroit니까 벌어지는 일도 있지
It's like, the crowd was with me
마치 군중들이 나와 함께인 듯했어
But the way the crowd responded to me widely
하지만 관중들이 내게 보내준 리액션은
Was one of my favorite crowd interactions ever
지금까지 제일 기억에 남는 좋은 반응이었어
And as the set is going terribly
셋이 끔찍하게 진행 중이었고
When it's clear I'm not gonna be able to pull the nose up and I'm gonna have to crash this thing
여기서 더 이상은 못 버티겠다, 끝내야겠다 싶을 때
I saw Danny Brown slipping out the room, which made me laugh really hard
Danny Brown이 방에서 나오는 걸 보고, 웃음이 세게 터졌지
Go back in the dressing room and everyone, you know there's a stink on ya after you bomb
드레싱 룸에 돌아갔어, 그리고 알다시피, 말아먹은 밤엔 분위기가 구리잖아
Where everyone looks at you like, you know what I mean?
다들 널 쳐다보면서, 그거 알지?
Like Headwound Harry, like, "Nigga, are you okay?"
Headwound Harry는, "야, 괜찮아?"
But I really, I can't explain it to ya, I really didn't care
하지만 진짜로, 설명은 못 하겠지만, 상관 없었어
And then, and then, it turns out
그리고, 그리고, 알고 보니
That this kind older gentleman was Big Sean's father
그 친절한 나이 든 신사분이 Big Sean의 아버지더라고
And my goodness what the, the, he gave me a pep talk that only a dad could give
맙소사, 그는 내게 아버지만이 줄 수 있는 격려 발언을 해줬어
And it made me feel wonderful, man (Wow)
기분이 아주 놀라웠지 (와우)
So shoutout to you Big Sean, shout out to Detroit
그러니 Big Sean에게, Detroit에게 인사를 보낼게
I'll never stop loving your city, and I'll never stop loving you, bro
너의 도시는 내가 항상 사랑할 거야, 사랑하는 걸 멈추지 않을 거야
