So that only the blade is protruding
그럼 칼날만 튀어나와있겠지
And that a wolf will smell the blood and wants to eat
늑대는 그 피 냄새를 맡고 먹이를 먹고 싶은 마음에
And it'll come and lick the blade, trying to eat
다가와서 칼날을 핥아, 먹이를 먹으려고
And what happens is when the wolf licks the blade
실제로는 그 늑대는 칼날을 핥게 되고
Of course, he cuts his tongue, and he bleeds
물론, 혀가 베이고 피가 더 흘러나오고
And he thinks he's really having a good meal
그걸로 좋은 식사를 하고 있다고 생각하는 거야
And he drinks, and he licks, and he licks
그렇게 그는 피를 마시면서, 핥고 또 핥고
And of course, he is drinking his own blood and he kills himself
물론 그렇게 자신의 피를 마시면서 자신의 목숨을 끊게 되지
That’s what the Imperialists did to us with crack cocaine
그게 제국주의자들이 코카인으로 우리에게 저지른 짓
You got these young brothers out there thinking that they’re getting something

They is getting something so they can buy a car;

They getting something so they can get a piece of gold;
그들은 돈을 벌어 금덩이를 사려고 해

백인들은 금덩이가 있잖아, 왜 나는 금이 없지?
They’re getting something to get a house;
그들은 돈을 벌어 집을 사려고 해
White people have a house, why can't I have a house?
백인들은 집이 있잖아, 왜 나는 집이 없지?
And they actually think that there’s something that’s bringing resources to them
그렇게 자신들에게 도움이 될만한 물건을 얻을 수 있다고 생각하지만
But they're killing themselves just like the wolf was licking the blade
마치 칼날을 핥는 늑대처럼 그들은 스스로를 죽이고 있을 뿐이야
And they're slowly dying without knowing it
알지도 못하고 천천히 죽어가는 거라고
That’s what’s happening to the community, you with me on that?
그게 우리 공동체에 일어나는 일, 알겠어?
That’s exactly and precisely what happens to the community
정확히, 아주 똑똑히 우리 공동체에 일어나는 일이지
And instead of blaming the hunter who put the damn
늑대를 잡으려고 망할 칼을 얼음에
Handle and the blade in the ice for the wolf
박은 사냥꾼을 비난하는 대신
What happens is the wolf gets blamed for trying to live
그저 살고자 했던 늑대가 비난을 받을 뿐이지
That’s what happens in our community
그게 우리 공동체에 일어나는 일이야
You don't blame the person, the victim
희생자인 사람을 탓하는게 아니라
You blame the oppressor!
가해자를 탓해야지!
Imperialism, white power is the enemy
