인트로 트랙인 은 초기 성가대 음악을 들으며 요리하는 소리로 시작한다.
삶의 일상적인 장면 속에서 어느 순간 전자음악의 신호음처럼 낯설고 날카로운 소리로 전환된다.

이 곡은 단순한 인트로라기보다는, 이 앨범 전체가 담고 있는 질문과 고민의 출발점이다.
나는 음악을 만들며 늘 느껴왔다. 영감이 떠오르는 순간의 아름다움, 기쁨, 슬픔 하지만 막상 그 순간을 컴퓨터 앞에서 구체적인 소리로 옮기려 하면 어딘가 허전하고 조금은 아쉬운 기분이 든다.
이 곡은 바로 그 간극, 내가 느끼는 그 차이가 어느정도인지 혼란을 담은 곡이다.

나는 과학의 발전을 경이롭게 바라보면서도, 그만큼 한 가지를 더욱 소중하게 느끼게 되었다.
바로 지금 이 순간을 살아가며 감각하는 것, 그 자체의 중요함이다.
그래서 이번 앨범에는 내가 영감을 받은 순간들—풍경, 사람, 공간, 기운—그 모든 것들이 만들어낸 감각들을 가능한 있는 그대로 담아내고 싶었다.
어떤 곡에는 음악보다 레코딩이 더 앞에 있고, 어떤 곡은 오로지 소리의 기록만으로 이루어져 있다.

이 프로젝트는 하나의 ‘작업물’이자 동시에 ‘기록’이다.
기술이 고도화되어도, 결국 음악은 인간의 감각에서 출발한다는 믿음 아래, 나는 이 작업을 통해 과거와 미래, 인간과 기계 사이를 잇는 작은 다리를 놓아보고 싶었다

이번 작업을 하며 믹스와 마스터링에 대해서도 많은 고민을 했다.
더 다듬어진 사운드를 만들 것인가, 아니면 덜 가공된 러프한 사운드를 있는 그대로 들려줄 것인가.
결국 이번 이 프로젝트는 , 완성도에 대한 욕심도 내려 놓고 그저 음악 창작에 대한 욕구만을 생각하고자 한 그 본질에 집중하는것이 목표였기 때문에 후자를 선택했다. 그렇게 내가 듣는 세상과 내가 보는 세상, 그리고 그 영감의 시작점이 되는 순간들을 사실적으로 진실하게 담으려 노력했다.
내가 가장 ‘살아 있음을’ 느끼는 그 순간을, 이 작업을 통해 공유한다.

The intro track, Cook, begins with the sound of someone cooking while listening to early choral music.
In the midst of this everyday scene, the sound suddenly shifts—into something unfamiliar and piercing, like a signal from electronic music.

This piece isn’t just a simple intro; it marks the starting point for the questions and reflections that run through the entire album.
As I make music, I constantly feel it—the beauty, the joy, the sorrow of inspiration when it arrives. But the moment I try to translate it into concrete sounds in front of a computer, I’m left with a strange emptiness, a lingering sense of something missing.
This track captures that dissonance—the confusion I feel about the gap between what I sense and what I can express.

While I’m in awe of technological advancement, it has also made me cherish something even more:
The act of sensing, of fully inhabiting the present moment.
In this album, I wanted to preserve that feeling as truthfully as possible—the moments that sparked inspiration: landscapes, people, spaces, energy.
Some tracks place field recordings before music, while others consist entirely of sound documentation.

This project is both a “work” and a “record.”
Even as technology becomes more sophisticated, I believe music still begins with human sensation.
Through this work, I hoped to build a small bridge between past and future, between humans and machines.

While working on this project, I also thought deeply about mixing and mastering:
Should I polish the sound further? Or should I present it as raw and unprocessed as it is?
In the end, I chose the latter—because the goal of this project was to let go of the desire for perfection and return to the essence of creative impulse.
So I tried to capture the world I hear, the world I see, and those fleeting moments of inspiration as honestly and faithfully as I could.
This is me sharing the moments when I feel most alive.
