Some unusual pairings distinguish the first round of artists who have been announced to perform at the Grammy Awards next month. The Recording Academy said Thursday that the rapper Kendrick Lamar, who has seven Grammy nominations, including best new artist and album of the year, will perform with the rock band Imagine Dragons, nominated for record of the year and best rock performance. Pink, the pop-punk singer, will take the stage with Nate Ruess of the rock trio Fun.; both are nominated for song of the year and best pop duo/group performance for “Just Give Me a Reason.” And the helmet-headed electronic rock duo Daft Punk, an unusual pair in their own right and an infrequent television presence, will also perform on the show.

The Grammy Awards will be presented on Jan. 26 and broadcast on CBS. The show, which is hosted by LL Cool J, will also feature the country music stars Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Blake Shelton and Merle Haggard. This is the first time that Mr. Haggard will perform on the Grammys, the Recording Academy said.
