After Laughter 11 : No Friends

- "Idle Worship"의 outro 격, 처음으로 Hayley Williams가 부르지 않은 Paramore의 곡.

 밴드 mewithoutYou의 보컬 Aaron Weiss가 참여했으며 Paremore의 곡 가사 / 제목들을 인용하여 Paramore의 일대기를 설명하는 곡입니다.

벽돌로 쌓여진 또 다른 방, 검게 포장된 또 다른 동네 (Brick by Boring Brick / Franklin 가사 인용)

Another misspelled band burning their own houses down

자기들 스스로 집을 불태워버리는 철자가 잘못된 또 다른 밴드 (Paremore)

(원래 Paramore가 아닌 Paramour로, 밴드 초기 베이시스트의 어머니 처녀 성을 딴 이름입니다. / Looking Up 가사 인용)

Another pine-box tune to fill the cemetery day

공동묘지의 날로 채울 또 다른 관의 곡조

Another stay, a touch of orange over purgatory gray

또 다른 주재, 연옥의 회색 속의 주홍색 흔적

더 많은 길 잃은 유령들, 더 많은 투명한 손들 (Misguided Ghosts 가사 인용)

우리의 바구니 속에 5센트를 넣어준다면 우린 우리만의 폭동의 춤을 추겠지

(2집 Riot!이 대성공을 가져다 주었지만 정작 자신들은 대중들에게 구걸한 결과로 표합니다.)

Beneath another burning sky, behind our painted lips

또 다른 불타는 하늘 아래, 우리가 칠한 입술에 감춰진 것 (Fake Happy 가사 인용)

In scores of catatonic smile-covered ankle-bitten ships (Anklebiters 인용)

긴장한 미소가 그려진 트집쟁이 선박의 총보(음악)

So throw your pedestal of stone in the forgetful sea

너의 돌 받침대를 망각의 바닷속으로 던져버려 (Idle Worship 가사 인용)

As protection from the paper-thin perfection you project on me

종이처럼 얇은 완벽함으로부터의 보호만큼 넌 날 투영하지

내가 마음을 한번 보았고 아무도 그들이 날 안다고 생각치 않을거야

So before the regiment resumes, before the dreaded sun appears

연대가 재개되기 전에,  두려운 해가 떠오르기 전에

My driver's waiting, so let's make one point crystal clear:

내 운전사가 기다리고 있어, 요점만 분명히 해둘게

You see a flood-lit form, I see a shirt design

넌 조명받고 있는 내 모습을 보고, 난 셔츠 디자인을 보지

(팬들은 스포트라이트를 받는 자신의 스타다운 모습 밖에 보지 못하지만

정작 본인은 팬들의 티셔츠에 그려진 자신을 보며 자신과의 괴리감을 느낍니다.)

난 그들이 이 얘기를 알고 있다고 생각해

I saw a bear floating in the river and thought it was a fur coat

난 강가에 떠있는 곰을 보았고 그게 모피 코트라 생각했었어

(모피코트 = 자신들이 원하는 밴드의 모습 / 곰 = 그 이상의 복잡한 일들)

Twelve years ago I stood on the shore

12년 전에 난 물가에 서있었고

Jump in and grab the coat

뛰어들어가 그 코트를 잡았어

( 12년 전 강가에 뛰어들어감 = 2004년 Paramore 결성)

And the river is rushing toward a waterfall

그리고 강은 폭포 쪽으로 흘러가고 있었고

(Paramore로 활동하면서 겪었던 일들과 역경을 뜻함.)

And my friend stood at the shore and shouted to let go of the coat and swim back to land

물가에 서있었던 내 친구는 코트를 버리고 육지로 돌아오라고 소리쳤지

(물가에 서있는 친구 = Paramore에 들어가지 않거나 포기한 인원들)

(전 멤버 Jeremy Davis의 탈퇴 이후 나머지 멤버들은 여기서 끝내야하나 고려합니다.)

I let go of the coat but the coat won't let go of me

난 코트를 버렸지만 이 코트는 날 놓아주지 않았어

(그들은 밴드를 떠날 수 없다고 생각해 유지합니다.)
